Poco M8 Series Launch Set for January 8: Pricing and Specs Leak Ahead of Time

Poco is gearing up to unveil the new Poco M8 on January 8. The leaks suggest the POCO M8 Pro will join the launch. While the brand is keeping pricing under wraps, a Russian retailer has already listed both devices, giving us an early glimpse at what to expect.

POCO M8 and M8 Pro – Key Sces and Pricing

The standard Poco M8 with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage is reportedly priced at RUB 26,817, roughly $340 or €289. The 512GB variant goes for RUB 31,167, translating to around $396 or €336. The Poco M8 Pro, meanwhile, is listed at RUB 36,242 ($460 / €391) for the 8GB/256GB model, and RUB 38,793 ($492 / €418) for the top-tier 12GB/512GB configuration. Specs-wise, the Poco M8 comes with a 6.77-inch curved AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, it brings Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 chipset, a 50MP main camera with a 2MP depth sensor, 20MP selfie camera, and a 5,520 mAh battery supporting 45W wired charging.

The POCO M8 Pro steps things up with a 6.83-inch quad-curved AMOLED panel topped with Gorilla Glass Victus 2. It carries a beefier a Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 processor, a 50MP main camera paired with an 8MP ultrawide shooter, a 32MP front camera, and a 6,500 mAh battery capable of 100W wired charging.

Both devices are shaping up to deliver strong performance and versatile camera setups for their respective price points, with the Pro model aiming squarely at power users.
