Under the hood, the phone is expected to come with a new MediaTek Dimensity 9500s chipset. It’s an upcoming variant of the Dimensity 9500, which coincidentally will launch on January 15.

The Redmi Turbo 5 series is expected to hit the Chinese market on January 15. These phones are expected to become part of the POCO X8 series in global markets.
