Xiaomi is moving fast with its software cycle, and it looks like the Xiaomi 13T Pro is next in line for a major upgrade. Internal test records have revealed that a stable build of HyperOS 3, based on the newly released Android 16, is now being validated for the EEA (European Economic Area) region. Internal test records—specifically version OS3.0.1.0.WMLEUXM—just leaked out for the EEA region. Basically, this means Xiaomi is in the “home stretch” of testing HyperOS 3.
It’s funny, actually. The 13T Pro is essentially just a rebranded Redmi K60 Ultra from China, so we usually see the Chinese builds get polished first. Seeing this EEA (European) build pop up now tells me that the global rollout isn’t just a “maybe” anymore—it’s happening, and likely sooner than we thought.

The big headline here is Android 16. Xiaomi is moving fast this year. Usually, we’re waiting months for the latest Android version to trickle down to the “T” series, but they seem to be prioritizing the 13T Pro.
What does that actually mean for you? Well, it’s not just about new emojis. HyperOS 3 is leaning heavily into what they call “HyperConnect.” I’ll be honest, the marketing speak is a bit much, but the actual experience is supposed to be way more fluid. They’re finally adding a “Super Island”—yeah, it’s their version of the Dynamic Island—which puts your charging status or music controls in a little pill at the top. It’s a bit derivative, sure, but it’s actually useful for checking things at a glance without diving into the notification shade.
There’s a lot of talk about “HyperAI.” I’m always a bit wary when brands slap “AI” on everything, but some of the features here look genuinely practical. We’re talking about system-level writing help and better transcription. But for me, the most important part is the animation engine. HyperOS 2 was a bit clunky in spots, and version 3 is supposedly “Liquid Glass,” meaning it should feel much snappier.
I noticed in the test notes that they’ve tweaked the power usage for these animations too. It’s one of those small things you don’t notice until your battery lasts an extra 40 minutes at the end of the day.
If you’re on a 13T Pro in Europe, you should probably start checking your settings app every morning in a few weeks. These internal stable builds usually mean the “Stable Beta” for testers is just around the corner. My advice? Make sure your system apps are updated in the meantime. It sounds like a chore, but it usually prevents those weird “app keeps stopping” bugs when you finally make the jump to a new OS.
Anyway, it’s a big move for Xiaomi. Transitioning to Android 16 this early shows they’re serious about keeping their older flagships relevant. I’m just hoping the “Super Island” isn’t as intrusive as it looks in the early renders.
